Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if your power was similiar to his, maybe 5WHP advantage for him, but it's not always the peak HP that wins a race, especially when your talking a minimal difference of 5WHP. After he get's tuned, then he should easily be making 275-285WHP on the same DD Dyno in which you got 244WHP.
not trying to start a war but mivec is garbage, true it has been proven to put out good numbers but, i mean cmon i'll stick with a traditional 4g63. if i have a set of cams and a tune i will walk on a 9 with intake, exhaust just because he has mivec doesnt mean crap. so then outa curiousity who won this race? if i hear evo 9 im gonna slap somebody lmao

Basically if you tune a MIVEC then you have a tuned EVO 8 with cams.
The average Evo 9 stock is 233-235awhp on a DD. I got 244awhp with reflash and tbe. I'm sure a 9 with tbe, boost, and intake should be higher than 244awhp even if it's untuned.
