sorry for off topic post, Assassin: How is your act street clutch holding up? Mine is being installed as i type this and will be outa the shop tomorrow. Does it hold power pretty good? Is there a difference on the reaction time from the stock clutch? Just give me as much info as you can without going outa your way. thx.

Back on topic. I had it stock....got mbc and felt a little difference, then got dynoflash...big difference, after that i put dp test pipe and greddy ti. WOW, even bigger difference. thought it would be enough, but here i am with the car in the shop and getting 272's put in along with my clutch and a jdm mr bov. I still want to do more!!!! lol, i told my wife when i bought it that it was the perfect car as it sat....hehehe.

Mine is a daily driver, in town, and it's not bad at all. Yeah, there are times when you want to speed up a LITTLE and end up flying down the road...but you get used to your exact turbo lag pretty quickly.

seriously the first week i had my IX i thought everyone making more power must be completely out of their mind... now i'm totally down for another 100whp... it doesnt change the fact that its still completely nutz for the street, but you do get used to it.

what are you talking about? lambos and ferraris have like 450whp. and the new Z06 has about 450whp and it is lighter than evo. 350whp is nothing compared to that! I find that 500whp very streetable!

My Evo's making 440 whp and not bad at all for a daily driver. If your not on the gas heavy it has stock drivability. At wide open throttle it is a beast though.

My car is pretty loud and loopy from the cams, but what took me the longest to get used to was the twin-disk clutch. (Chatterbox) As someone else has mentioned, stay out of boost as much as possible and streetability should be fine. High torquey engines want to wind-out as much as they can, so you will have to be careful not to cut it loose. I am looking at either upgrading to another turbo at some point, or some additional bolt-ons to give me around 430Hp on a dynojet. Considereing the FP 3065 turbo at some point

Mine has 400+whp on pump and its freaking awesome. On race gas, it's just stupid. If you hit boost, that's the only time you will use that whole 400whp. Just stay off boost or hit low boost when you drive and you'll be fine. You are going to love 400whp.

Really, only ~10% driveline loss on the new Z06?

I agree with you guys on too much horsepower is never enough, when i first got my IX, i was so amazed by how fast it pulled, a few weeks later, it feels slow because I'm so used to it so instead of modding, I take my brother 2.5 RS impreza for a ride and when i get back into my evo, it feels just as fast as the first day i bought it...well not really but you guys get the point .
