350 - 400 awhp too much??

i'm wondering is 350 - 400 awhp too much for a daily driver? i'm slowly getting used to my evo , coming from a g35 [slower yet smoother, power del. wise]. i'm thinking that i will have to constantly stay out of boost for me to be able to live with all that power. For those that have 350 - 400 awhp, is it your daily? how is it? I have 5k to put into my car....i just don't know if it will be driveable everyday...... Any opinions and advice is much appreciated! thank you!!

That is what I would like to get out of my car so I also would like to know the answer to this as well.

400awhp with my car....it might be a little too much if you have to drive it a lot.

Mine wouldn't be so bad, power delivery wise....but it's so f-ing loud lol.

One thing I realized is that you will never be satisfied with how much power you wield. When I first got my IX, I was like 'what the hell do I need to mod this, its fast as it is'. Few months later, I get a custom flash and was like wow, doesn't get any better than this. Now I'm used to the power levels again... Then again, I only have about 300whp, whats another 50 eh?

Get used to 250whp is 2 weeks, get used to 350whp is 3 weeks. Too much is never enough.

Really, it all depends on your driving style, and where your power is. If it's all up top, you can easily stay out of boost and drive normally, but if you make a torque monster, its going to want to pull when you barely hit the gas.

Stay off boost and no matter how much Whp u have the Evo remains civil. When I ran around with 450 whp it was very civil until I mashed my size 13s( okay size 10s, no wonder why i cant get laid) on the gas and all hell would break loose.

I agree. As you add more power you have to adjust how you hit the gas. This is where turbo lag is our friend. I know we bi*ch and moan about it but when you have to drive in a situation you can't floor it. Its not so bad.

yep, the thing that bored me the most about my car was the fact that I couldn't stay out of boost every day I drove it. Now, I drive it like a normal A to B car until I get some tard in a mustang that wants to give it a go.

I agree with that, too much is never enough. As for mine, its a daily driver, everyday all day, here there everywhere. In boost, out of boost. it all comes down to your driving style. I hit 23psi (low boost) by 2900 and 29psi by 3100 so it comes on hard and fast. however, its mild enough to drive stop and go as long as i dont floor it. just like any car you learn how to drive and adapt to it. (its still a monster, couldnt imagine what 500 would feel like)

Why is that it's mustangs always feel they have something to prove. It's like the big dopey dog in a cartoon trying to catch the rabbit.
