whats the deal with guys who think they are better than you for no reason.

Driving home tonight, pull up to an intersection and see a paper plated GG IX MR. Being in my GG IX, i roll up and try to talk to the guy. He ignores me. I tap the horn a little bit, he just looks at me, sees the car and looks back. WTF?

Basically instead of him stopping and meeting a fellow EVO owner and gettin together sometime for a drive or something, he blew me off like the big wad he is.

Anyone similar encounters?

I could of understood this if you bought a 350z or something, as whenever i saw another 350z owner, 90% of the time it was some older person in their midlife crisis, not car enthusiast. But i figured everyone who bought an Evo was a car enthusiast, but i guess iam wrong... But heck what do i know. Ive only seen about 5 evos on the road since the time ive gotten my evo, and all of them have given a thumbs up back.

Maybe he thought you were a little "out there" for wanting to be cool only because he had the same car? Maybe he thought you were trying to run him in his new paper plated car?

 

my car was paper plated and ida run him...

paper plates could just mean that the real ones let cops pull you over easier.

You know i'm with the other guy. When I'm on the road i'm listening to music and going somewhere. When someone honks there horn and tries to talk to me it's a bit annoying especially when they see that we drive the same car. Come on we drive the same car. Big whoop! Yes it's a lancer and it's an evo.....who cares. When my friend drives his grand am he doesn't honk at every grand am on the road the try to talk to him. What the hell are you gonna talk about? Hmmm, nice car I have one too. What's done to it? Stock How much boost you running? Stock!!!!!
