Just pulled this code. I intalled a Turbo Timer and HUD display, but don't see how that's related. Any ideas?

P0446 - Evap Emission Control System Vent Circuit Malf
Back from the dead. Ive been getting the same code P0446, was random now its frequent and annoying. Has anyone had the same code and corrected it or dealer fixed? Might just leave it to the dealer.
For 05's outside of CA how long is emissions stuff covered?
