Beater or hook it up?
Man, I really want a bike. The only problem is my g/f is getting on my nerves about it. She wont let me get one. I'm about to ignore her though. I work at a bodyshop so I dont need to bring anything with me to work. My tools are already there. My best friend's hatchback gets better but not much better gas than the evo. So, i'm either going to get a bike or hook up my car. Just the warranty is worrying me so i'm more leaning towards a bike.
I love driving my car. Maybe I love driving period. When I had my honda, I put 25k miles on it the first year. I REALLY dont want to do that to the evo......

Re: the bike, if CA is like WA, insurance is NOT required so long as there's no lien on the bike. I'm often surprised how few Washingtonians know this.
Grab yourself a mid-nineties sportbike and you won't care much that your car is in the garage...
Man, this is a good debate. I know i know, I do put my g/f's choice in consideration. I was about to say forget her and get the bike anyway. Then my friend called me and said he'll sell me his hatchback(with gsr swap) for 4500. I think that's a good deal. I decided to put a few grand into my evo IX and get my friend's car. I'm still gonna get a bike though, just not yet =)

agreed. I drive 86 miles a day for work and it's 86 miles on 95, 495 and DC. If you are not familiar, stop and go all the way. I say drive the car man, that's why you got it. Stop or go... with mods = money well spent. I've got 36k in a year and a half
