^^^^ BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA STOP? Is that the best you could come up with? Gee guys my car can stop better than yous can aint I just the coolest guy ever. So I wonder where you can go to have stopping competitions? Btw, you need to stop faster cause your suspension is looser than ours meaning you will need to enter a turn slower.

Me thinks you are confusing me with one of your stupid internet buddies. Stopping is as much of a part of road racing as anything else, and the weight difference alone makes slowing on a road course next to impossible in the Evo with stock brakes. I had racing pads, Motul, steel braded lines....ONE 20 minute session at Buttonwillow and they are to the floor and my Brembo's are now Brownbo's.

An S2000 will ALWAYS enter turn faster than an Evo with the same GOOD driver. It's the exit where the Evo shines (again you have no idea what you are talking about). The S2000 has more grip too, and the suspension on the EVO is the worst suspension on a stock 'sports car' that I have ever owned. AGAIN you have NO IDEA what you are talking about. I own both, I like my Evo more than the S2000 actually, but there really is no reason to carry this on any further with you...if somebody other than BRAINMATIC wants to step in here with something they find worthy...feel free.

I had issues with fading too but I then changed the break fluid from DOT3 to DOT 4 or the other way around. Anyway the fading ended. They are VERY high quality breaks, the only thing hindering is the fluid.

Went to Motul 600... and track pads. Faded to the floor. I do brake really late, and have seen others not have as much problem. I have also been on the track with guys that brake where i do and they have the identical problem. The car is just heavy and there isn't enough brake to stop it. I was just making a point, but my brakes are now brown after one session and they will not stop the car now with the added HP. Stop techs will be here next week.

I've got that TiVo'd. Very cool clip. Put 400whp behind an S2k and it may...with a DAMNED good driver that is. I like the Evo because it's idiot proof, but for the same reason I don't like it. I stopped counting at 45 cars that I've owned (as i stated earlier, i have a problem) and the Evo is one of my favorites by far...I just think the guys in this thread are a bit (read: waaaaaaay) myopic. (look it up)

Well you need to understand that the s2k is a good car but its not better than the evo. Thats all I am saying. And you keep denying this. I never said the s2k is a crappy car because I would be a liar if I said this.

I've owned both cars..... you would need 30 grand... lots of carbon bodywork and really wide tires on a S2K to even come close to my evo at Lime Rock Park, Watkins Glen or Pocono Raceway. I saw 1 well preped S2K at a track event... i think he put 15K+ into it... still not as fast as my evo with stock suspension.

You're quick to lash out at the less informed, though understandable, you also just said the Evo's suspension was the "worst suspension of any on a stock 'sports car' you have ever owned".

What cars have you owned?
What way is the Evo suspension the worst?

Considering all of the articles, all of the tests, all of the morons taking first place in auto-x's with no experience, and the amount of good drivers who move to and enjoy the Evo... why is everyone so wrong about the Evo and a group of proud S2000 owners the only ones seeing the light?

The Evo is stiff on the street and soft on the track..the only reason morons do well in it is that it is very forgiving. And AWD is hard to beat..that has NOTHING to do with suspension. I am not ******* the EVO, I love it. I'm just pointing out the stupidity in the forums that ONE car is that much better. SILKYBOY says name ONE thing..I do and now it's a "I never said that"????

My S2000 pulled 1.062g on the skid pad. APR Evo with 295's all the way around pulled 1.072. The AMS car pulled 1.017..much less than my S2000. Skidpad=GRIP. Period.

Viper GTS ACR
Viper GTS
BMW M3 E36
BMW M3 E46
Integra Type R
E55
C32
350Z
ETC....

I'm not saying the Evo sucks (again,I love it) it's just not going to hand the S2000 it's *** at every encounter.
