g35 coupe is a very sexy car, and very nimble for its weight. a 6spd one will give you a lot of fun while giving you a professional look. congrats on your decision

I think you did the right thing. Takes a big man to play the game, and admit to playing the game.

WOW... never did I think I would get this much response I do really like the Legacy... but their is just something about the G35 that make me smile when I look at it... it is just BAD looking.

Thanks again for all the advise... as for the 300lb client... I might borrow the wifes Mazda for that trip

The G35 was a real nice car a few years ago, but its getting old in it's segment. You should look at the new BMW 3 series or Lexus IS350. The legacy is nice, but its not exactly luxury.

I know you already made your choice... but for other people in a similar situation, I can agree with the comments on the Legacy GT. Actually I had a 2005 Legacy GT Wagon (5-speed) all lined up for myself... until I found a really great deal on my EVO. If I didn't find that deal... I'd be driving that GT wagon right now.

It's all-wheel drive.... it has a decent amount of power (it surprised me when I stepped on the gas)... it handles well. The interior is nicer than the EVO and it has more creature comforts. I think it's a great looking car too. I'm glad I got my EVO... but I would have been very happy with that car. (And I definitely miss that extra cargo space at times).

But the G35 is a sweet car... it's definitely classier looking than an EVO... and I bet it's a blast to drive.

I was considering a G35 instead of an Evo. Great pick! Sucks you had to do it, but its very understandable. Maybe you can make it back into the Evo flock when the X rolls around

You owe it to yourself to at least test drive the Legacy.

extra cargo space is completely useless! It is nerdy.

If you are married, and planning to have kids in the future, then the Gcoupe is not the smart choice. Lexus IS or BMW 3 4dr wld be the way to go for me.

The G35 would definately be my choice! Let us know what you think about it when you get it.
