I'm so confused
hi, dan you guys wrote i lot!!
well the z06 is a fast car but its also way too expensive, i'm not in anyway going to buy it. yes its a freaking fast azz car but i dont have that kind of money. so i'll just drool over it. the vette i was thinking about was the regular one, sheesh you guys are thinking i'm rich (remember only used vette and supra)
and as for high maintanence, dont all these cars on my list require it? I mean its common sense that all these would, they are high hp (to me) performing cars and needed to be treated like it. So I am fully away of the cost factors in the future so again that's not a problem and so is modding it with Quality products, not cheap knock offs.
Even in my broke down honda i used quality performance parts which are expensive when it comes to honda and used synthetic oil even though regular crap is recommended.
now the reason i'm not going with a s2k is because in my opinion they are crap, they look hot yes but lack power. i hate waiting for the god dam vtec to kick in, and have you sat in those? its freaking cramped not to mention i'm really going for a 4 door cuz i want to go on cruises too with friends, not just race everyday
and yes i dont know alot about the EVO but I dont know alot about any of the cars listed, does that mean i should only buy honda's? no!! if i never learn then i'll be stuck with cars i dont want. Dont get me wrong, honda's are great....but for gas savers only (in my opinion again) i'm not looking for a gas saving civic, i'm looking for a nice powerful/family sedan that just looks incredible.
i never knew anything about the honda, actually my accord is my first car, after i bought it i found out what works and what doesnt and how it works. i just regret getting it because when my generation accord came out, there wasnt any aftermarket parts for it so no one had any real experience with how it responds to mods and such, with the evo there are loads of parts (after searching a bit) and so much has been tested.
i have test drove a vette, not the z06. i'm not buying the z06 cuz its just too expensive. the vette performs great!! i've also ridden in a sti that was modded to about 300whp and all i can say is ****, that was the best dam ride in my life. so if a sti that looks good (not the 06 model, but the 04 model) can perform this good how will a EVO perform that has looks in its own class?
now the only problem is test driving the EVO but the dealership by my place are asses so now i have to find a better dealership. i just dont understand why there arent more dealerships or better yet, better dealerships that arent asses =/

I disagree with the Supra comment. While BPU $1000 - $2000 dollars will get you up and running reallllly fast
. And the evo's clutch will fry after 400whp, but to the poster go with whatever you want, get the car that suits you
dont let anyone change your mind

yea he should get a cayman... wth is that?
Hey guys, sorry to bring this back from sort of the dead but a few other questions. I didnt want to make another thread about it cuz more load and stuff on the servers.
OK so the question is, is the SSL the better package or the GSR?
Yes the SSL has sun, stereo and leather but it also has the HID package <----
I want that!! I mean the other options are not bad but my main reason for the SSL is the HID package. I asked a few dealerships and they said that the HID package only comes in the SSL. Leather and sunroof isnt bad at all, i have this currently on my honda so I dont mind plus I use the sun all the time in summer. The leather sometimes is annoying with the heating and cooling of the weather BUT man is it easy to clean if I spill anything.
The stereo would be nice I guess because it's louder then the stock
so what do you guys think?
The SSL is about 2 grand more then the GSR, is it worth that 2 grand?
Thanks guys
