I could care less about what you guys think i did or not.

Maybe one day this will happen to you. I just like how people think they know it all.

You really want to know how i feel about all this there you go.

This response is absurd. Almost no one keeps the evo stock. Thats the reason you get an evo. To make a fast car faster. It is easy to make good power with minimal mods too.

Bottom line is your AFR was running extremely lean which is what busted your piston.

Exactly, when you run too lean your egt's increase. When this happens watchout cause something can go boom boom.

Thats why its always better to run a little rich.

Explaineeee to me what a chunk of piston has to do with a CEL ???? like the other boys said you had det problem, that would cause the CEL, there was a problem with either
FUEL
Ignition
Timing
Or just you.... sorry but I'm Right And i Know this..... for a few months you DET all over the place and of course if your ride DET all the time what do you expect the pistons to do....
Say hey dude were about to bust learn how to fix me.....nope not gone happen, and if your ex source from AMS said he seen 60 EVO have that problem then maybe MItsubishi should have a IQ test done before they let someone buy a Evo... if they did i bet there would be alot of new Evos left on the car lots...
