I got 8 non moving violation tickets in a 2 month span, and a reckless. Thats what I get for being an 18 year old Evo owner. And yes, I own it and pay for it. But talking you're way out of tickets is nearly impossible in Fairfax County. Big ups to you though.

I go to Virginia Beach like once a year during Memorial Day weekend.... I do know to take down my radar detector when I'm in VA though.... but at night on the interstate I have used it....

Well 4 tickets for my improper exhaust, any non stocker is illegal in VA, 2 for tint, its the darkest legal tint but apparently that doesnt matter, and 2 for no front liscense plate. And then when I go to court to fight these damn things the judge *****es at me for missing school to do so and subsequently fines me, how messed up is our judicial system?

Yes you can....some people have gone with the sleeper look and it seems to work very well in reducing the attention factor. Do a search to see what people do but taking the wing off and getting rid of the clear tail lights are the two biggest items.

The spotless record has alot to do with it I think... I got out of a ticket too because I had no record of anything the past 3-4 years, so that helped out alot ! You really went out of your way to make him feel comfortable with approaching the car. Never heard of placing the keys on top of the car before, but good a faith move on your part...
