Mine only came with a 3/36000 and i bought a 6/72,000 when I purchased the car used.

Thats not true, a Mitz tech can see that parameters and values have been changed from stock ones. Its alittle tedious work for them but it is possible if they were told to check by Mitsubishi. Mitz reps are very aware of flashing the stock ECU to make power. Its almost like they went to a training class specifically on the subject of Evo modding.

The only problem is it will probably void my warranty coverage on the tranny and the transfer case. My other option is to buy a new stock clutch and hope it holds up because I plan on making more power. So what should I do?? And I'd appreciate any reccomendations on aftermarket clutches that are comfortable and a step above the stock clutch.
445.1 torque held fine on stocker @ 33psi on stock turbo.

This is NOT the same as an Exedy Twin Plate people talk about.

I recommend the Twin hands down. Best money you can spend on your car, period.

I recommend getting the exedy carbon hyper single. There's no need to get twin unless you are serious track/autocrossing/drag-racing.

Try to get a "carbon" clutch. You will be amazed

I did not think the carbon hyper was even released in the states yet. Maybe Matt can expound on this.

Yeah, this is the one I currently have, exedy organic with a 3100lb pressure plate, and fidanza flywheel, works great, a little noisey, but other than that no qualms.
