my friend had a run in with a deer in his WRRX and let me tell you, you are better off curbing all 4 rims. his wrx was totalled: entire front end DESTROYED, windshield broken, deer parts in side engine bay and worst of all, a big part of the dear flyed into the car andd hit my friend leaving him with 25 stitches...

Does anybody know if insurance covers stuff like this. I didnt get all into it with police reports or anything. I always heard your supposed to take the hit, so i dunno if theyll cover it. I have Allstate.
BTW...as it stands now, from my look at it. It looks like i need a new control arm, rotor, OEM Enkei, and some body work (not too bad)....I dunno if id have to do the whole rear side suspension or what. This SUCKS!!

But in a situation like this, you can bet your rates will go up.
Also, I'd like to second the fact that it was better you hit the curb than hit the deer. I have a friend who broke her femur while she was driving in the Bay area and hit a deer. So much trauma, she didn't even remember the accident.
I've broken my femur. heck I did a 1/4 million dollars worth damage to my body in that accident. (guy ran a light and hit me head on). Broken car parts are a lot easier to fix than broken body parts. I don't remember my accident either. People thought I'd died at the scene.
