I went from an M3 to the Evo. For me it was about the controls. The steering input, pedals and gearbox are much better in the Evo. I borrowed a friends Evo for a few days and afterwards the M3 just wasn't as fun. That said my Evo makes all sorts of rattles and squeeks and the interior is not very good quality compared to the M3. The good news is with the M3 I felt like I always had to park out in BFE so my car wouldn't get dinged. With the Evo I park in the first space and don't think twice about it.

Relying on a car to get women is pretty silly. You either have game or you don't.

some people WAY exagerate. like Mmelmman for example, saying after a week you'll hear creaks and stuff. That is completely false. I have 12,500 miles on my '05 MR, which includes 2 track days and hours of very hard driving.

not one rattle, still rides like the day i bought it. some people love to be drama queens though so what can ya do?

Well I've had my 05 GSr w/ SSL for going on 4 months with less than 5k on the clock and I can hear my a-pillar and passenger door creak and rattle. With a suspension that hard your definitely going to hear the creaks every once in awhile. BTW: I love my SSL for just an extra 75 lbs I wouldn't trade it for anything. When it comes to stock speed you not going to notice a difference between an rs, gsr or gsr w/ ssl. You not even going to be able to tell a difference with the mr unless you have a professional behind the wheel. People will go all day long talking about 100lbs or less of weight difference, but what really matters is the fat A$$ sititng in the drivers seat. I weight a 135lbs so I guess my car is going to be just a fast as any guy with an rs who weighs more than 200lbs. So I can just laugh as he rides around in an aluminum box with a motor and wheels.

I went from 95 e36 M3 > 03 e46 M3 cab > 04 Carrera 4S > 06 IX GSR

By far the Evo is the best sports car I've owned!

Here's a pic of my previous M

Well... you can hold your tongue. Have you ridden in my car... didn't think so. My car has had audible vibrations of interior trim from the beginning. It was quite a differen story with my M Coupe. In it's 6 years of life, it didn't have any interior vibrations that were audible. It had it's querks, but rattles were not one of them. Just because you don't hear creaks in your car doesn't meant that all are that way. For me, both my WRX and Evo show these traits. I can live with it because I've become accustomed to it and I expect it from this type and level of Japanese car. I wouldn't stand for it if it was an Infinity or Lexus product.

I guess that you are one of the types of guys that I was picking on earlier and took offense.
