Question Quick Question...

I am looking at getting an Evo 9 MR and have a couple quick questions. Can the factory turbo gauges be placed where the stereo is located and the stereo put where the gauges were origionally located? If so is it a simple swap around or are additional parts required?
Thanks,
MarK.

To answer your question, yes, the stereo can be relocated to the gauge spot and the gauges to the stereo spot. Also, realizing your new, you may want to double check the forums you're posting in. This is the Lancer forum; there is an Evo forum for you: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/evo-show-shine-86/ . Good luck!

Here is the Mitsu part number: MZ598263 CD Changer Install kit

You need this part from a Mitsu dealership: MZ598263 - it includes everything you need to swap the radio down.

NO, it is a straight swap in the MR. You don't need any kit. I know people hate to hear it, but if you just searched for this, you would have seen the explanation along with pics. I know, because I've answered this question many times and shown pics of my own setup.

There is a full write-up on how to do this swap at http://www.EvolutionMR.net . Go check it out, then join us back here in Evo General.
