Because decibels aren't important at WOT. Legality is measured at 1000 and 3000rpms.

As for your dBA meter.... why aren't you going to test at higher RPMs? You only really get a good sense of an exhaust systems noise from metering it at something other than a slow cruise IMO.
David may be redoing the testing. Check out the thread on the Buschur forums:

The idle and part throttle I think is what most people are interested in for testing. Makes the car enjoyable to be in. WOT probably will get tested to from time to time.

We are not hard to find.

I think the content of our site is about as good as it gets. We keep adding information, tech infor there is top notch etc.

If you do a google search for Mitsubishi Racing you will find that Buschur Racing is the #1 and #2 sites that come up.

Yes, there are sales here to be had. It is just a good place to hang out mostly and that is why I use to spend so much time here.

It is not the end all to our business though like many people here thought it would be or would be if the ban was permanent.

Dave,

Don't let this crap get to you, keep doing what you are doing. I found you without this site, and have great respect for you, your customers, and your products.

Thanks for all you do for the Evo community.

It is a shame that you feel this way. I *think* the EvoM's staff perspective would be that they banned you for something else entirely different. I don't mind visiting your site, but it was nice to have one place where all the vendors come together to show off their wares. A mall, or bazaar of sorts that made it easy to compare one tuning house to another. You could still share, just not be involved in all the mudslinging that people will do anyway, regardless. Let the haters hate. But, if that's the way it is...

Do you honestly think that if EVOm didn't exist, your EVO parts sales would be half of what they are now? people in the greater OHIO area might have known who you were, or the DSM crowd might have known of you....but personally, i would have to say i would have never known who you were, or most any other vendor for that matter.

So as far as being in business, you are right, you would be. Thanks greatly to some DSM forum im sure, you had good business before EVOm. But i think its ignorant to say(not just you, but any vendor) that they would be in the same place they are without this forum...because thats silly and untrue. Don't get me confused with some evoM supporting nuthugger, because that I'm not....I don't think any of you guys shoulda been banned in the first place....just callin em like i see em. no offense intended.
Hmmm... I first heard of him via Car & Driver. Quite a bit larger than EvoM, wouldn't you say?

Welcome back dave! Keep fighting the good fight brother. Couple of questions for you.

1)Will you let us know AS SOON AS the new mini tray is available, either on your site or on here?

2) Jarod had PM'd me and told me that he would have some word on obtaining some lowering rails for the IX seats. Haven't heard from him in a while and was just wondering where you guys were with that. 6'6" here and could really use a lower seat lol.

It's cool you guys are going to be supplying decibel levels with your exhausts. Unfortunately for us folks out here in Cali it doesn't matter if you have a signed letter from the President of the United States saying that your aftermarket exhaust is under the legal decibel limits, the cops out here get to use their "discretion" and if they think it's to loud they will give you a ticket. Oh well, what are you gonna do.........

Oh yea and the V-band exhaust is **** man....looks awesome!!!

Hey David -

I just wanted you to know that the Car & Driver shootout was the reason I bought my Evo.

I had an SRT-4 at the time and the way your car smoked it (at close to the same cost) made me a believer.
