The after-ban. Misc ramblings and updates....
The first time I heard of David Buschur was when a friend of mine was building up his Talon back in the early / mid-90s. When Turbo magazine was still independent, not a part of the evil Primedia empire. That's how far David goes back in the scene. There's a TON of experience and know how in that noggin of his. Cats who have been in / familiar with the scene back in its infancy definitely know who he is. Too bad those noobs who get all their info from Super Street have little or no clue whatsoever. These are the same idiots who think Signal Auto is actually a competent tuning shop. Hahahah...
The new battery trays are very close. Man are they killer. Love the fit, design and ability to mount a bunch of cool things to it. Stock air box fits, our intercooler pipe fits. Really nice, wish this was what I built in the first place 3+ years ago. Don't worry, it too will be copied

Good to see you online again. Don't let the internet kiddies get to you. Immature is the name of the game for some. I remember back when I had my '97 GSX and went to your store to go pick up some spark plug wires. Great service and lots of fun to talk with you. Still recommended!
OMG...ROTFLMAO...
Dave has no worries about being known weather he's on this 2 bit forum or or anywhere else.
I got my first DSM 13 years ago(which I still have) & I heard of Dave from being on the Talon Digest. If you don't know what the Talon Digest was, well..... you're still wet behind the ears.
I bought a few parts from Dave very early on in his DSM business. Excellent service.
FWIW, just to wax nostalgic for a moment.... I was one of the first to *finally* break Marc Hallman's long standing record of 12.57 on the stock 14b turbo back in 1998, (Jeff Carpenter(RIP) beat me to it by a matter of only a few days)I ran 12.4@110, with a fully weight, minor modded 1992 TSI.
In fact...to this day, 8 years later my 12.4 is the 12th fastest NO NOS 14b time on DSMTimes.org, and if you exclude the non full weight vehicles in that 14b list my 12.4 would be very near the top.
Trust me folks, this site don't mean dick in the grand scheme of things.
LOL Dave, don't give it a second thought about this place.

1quick1, the old days, looking back on them, seemed so fun. The best times are probably now, it is just going to take a few years so I can look back on them and remember how good it is now
The battery trays are done and I must add, KICK ***!!! We will be posting pictures and releasing them on Monday.
