hey what did you end up getting?

 

I ended up getting a sweet deal on the Evo IX front bumper that I couldn't turn down. It should be coming in on Wednesday or Thursday, and hopefully I can get the whole thing swapped in on the same day... weather permitting.

 

Wow, nice mod list. I bet your 8.5 MR (???) looks fast as hell. Your upcoming mod should put you over the top for sure!

 

Now that he is just about done with all the cosmetics, looks like it is time to get a Warrtalon power package! Or some sort of power mods.

Hey are you going to sell your JDP Engineering Do-Luck Replica CF Lip? If so how much you want for it and what kind of condition is it in?

Thanks Warrtalon! I changed my Evo model in my profile to 8.75 instead of 8.5... maybe it's more like 8.6289 since I have no MIVEC lol. I'm hoping this is my last "cosmetic" mod... but I've been eyeing the JDM IX rear bumper... *sigh* But yeah, I'm hoping to focus on performance mods more in the near future, 'cause it's one thing to "look" fast, and another think to "BE" fast hehe.

 

I just finished my IX conversion. You won't be disapointed. You'll get over the I/C holes and the offset IC real quick. The center grille and the boxy openings at the bottom are well worth it. It even looks good with my chrome headlamps which I thought would bug me.

 

Yeah, right now, you have the worst combination - look fast but slow as hell. Interested to see if you follow through on your "hope" to focus on performance mods. Fwiw, with the money you spent on all these cosmetics, you could have a low-12s Evo. I relish coming up against Evos like yours in public, at meets, at the dyno, or at the track. It is quite satisfying!

 

If you are going to sell your lip let me know. I am in need of a lip or front bumper or both lol.

 

Maybe you can give me some pointers on performance mods when I have the sufficient funds! I've been considering the Works TR340 package personally.
