ingalls stiffy on a stock evo
These things work as advertised. You will gain little bit more cabin whine because the "stiffy" is absorbing and dissipating vibrations. The whine is a result of the "stiffy" doing its job. Very minor whine I must say.
FTW, Lexus and other car companies have used the "stiffy" concept on stock cars. But I guess that is just for looks too I suppose.

I will see if I can get Ingalls to send you a replacement piece for you "other" one that is now no good. All I ask for is an honest review of the part. If that sounds like something you might want to do PM me.
Also go to you local HONDA dealer today and pop the hood on the new Si. What will you see you might ask? Well a nice factory ETD right in the spot Ingalls mounted a ETD on the RSX model...? Why would HONDA waste money on "just a bling" mod? They work and it has been proven on many car models. Look at September Modified Mag page 156 2nd fastest EVO has an Ingalls Stiffy. And no Ingalls is not a sponser of them. Owners name is Michael Ko not sure if he is on this board or not, but in the mag his email is listed. So if in doubt go pick up Sept. Modified and email Michael ask him how its imporved his EVO!
