You would also need to modify the vents behind the dash piece in addition to relocating the hazard button

factory upgraded or aftermarket nav set up for lancer in taiwan

USDM Evo 9

Euro Evo 7 with jdm entertainment system

base level lancer interior in taiwan with no nav/lcd, only a clock.

base on all the picture ive seen so far, theres really no difference between the taiwanese lancer dash and USDM Evo dash besides the harzard button location and the ac vent. so i think it would just be a plug and play if i get the taiwanese lancer dash, vent, lcd screen. then a dvd player+paint the dash to match maybe for the swap. am i missing anything? craps are so damn cheap in taiwan, i didnt realize it til now. i found the factory lcd for less than 150 bucks NEW online. i doubt the dash piece would be more than 200 bucks with the vent.

Unless JDM evos with that dash setup have the same shape a/c duct, then I doubt it is plug and play. I've removed my long strip before and behind it were ducts the shape of the vents (horizontal).

so you mean the jdm ac vents and usdm ducts wont fit?well, maybe then ill get the jdm ducts to replace the usdm ducts. lancers cant be that different can they? if all parts add up to less than 5bills,id do it.

I'm not sure how the ducts are shaped behind the long strip in the JDM evo w/ navi. But from the looks of it from the outside, they are pretty different. Here's a quick photoshop to illustrate what I mean:

It's probably best to ask someone with navi to pop their vent strips open and take a pic and compare with our air ducts shape to make sure it fits.
