PM me if anyone is interested in a special deal on the catbacks alone. These are the new versions just like Dr. SS with the redesigned rear hangar.

Hmm 475.... Scott can you please tell me what you installed in the past few weeks... Im dying to know!!!

Can someone point me to a sound clip of this exhaust? I am looking for the deepest tone I can get from an exhaust.

I have the older version of this TBE on my car and just like Broeli above -- i always get compliments on the sound of this exhaust. For the money, you can't beat this exhaust!

Oh, I wanted to add on Zeus' comment above. My existing turbo-back used to be on my 04. Since I no longer own that car and now own the 05 I did use the existing exhaust. This exhaust did fit but it's a bit tighter than I had hoped -- however, i do not have any rubbing or noise issues.

Im also running this TBE on my GSR. LOVE IT!!!

No drone.
Clean Sound
Gets a lot of compliments

Chicks dig it too.

My one issue... every now and then i get the sound like its rubbing on my drive shaft. ITs only once in a blue moon though. My mid pipe o2 faces the outside of the car.... and everything it nice and tight, and doesnt move. Any ideas? even though its only once in a blue moon.... it did it one time when some girls were around. How fresh can your evo be, with the exhaust is rubbing the drive shaft aye? haha.

Catbacks are ready (well, out of stock again until Monday or Tuesday) and selling... downpipes are out for an undetermined time for re-design.

OHHHHHHHHH MAN that looks good, I will wait for the Turbo Back, if it is $550 then there is no way I can't buy that exhaust. Sound clips?

Megan has been threatening a price hike when 06' model production is full swing... However, I suspect that won't happen until the downpipes are ready. Since they ship separately anyway, You might want to jump on the catback while you can. The next shipment should be ready to ship Monday or Tuesday.

Is this installed correctly? I wouldn't think that they'd put the rear 02 bung below the horizon. It's bad for the sensor and it'd probably get damaged from road debris.

Are you running a 04? And is that Megan's full exhuast? If so, no, that's incorrect. You need to rotate the mid-pipe 180 degrees and attach the O2 bung to the hole on the test pipe... Otherwise, the exhaust won't line up. You'll run the mid pipe close to the driveshaft and the metal part of the fuel tank. And if you try to correct that by moving the exhaust bracket over to the other side, you'll end up touching your bumper and melting it...

That's incorrect... there was a run that didn't fit well on the 05's... and that was Megan's (poor) solution for that run. They were reimbursing people to have O2 bungs welded 180 degrees out. 03'-04's are fine. I still run the original design on my own 03' with no issues at all. The pics I posted are of the new re-designed 05'-06' product.

Your PM has been returned.

The ONLY appeal the Megan racing exhaust has is it's price. if it goes up, I will buy another exhaust.

For the 03'-04's it has not gone up... full turbo backs for those model years in stock ready to ship. It is the 05'-06's that might go up... with the downpipes delayed.
