Megan Racing TBE

Just recently installed my MR TBE. Thought I'd throw up some pics, to add to the results anyone would get while searching for more info on this unit.

sound clip would be fantastic. How is the quality? Weight? (curious to see how it compares to other units)

The bends look a tad sloppy in the second pic, looks like a better unit could see gains there, is it mandrel bent?

Awesome price though.

it doesnt drone at all. it has a resonated test pipe. it sounds very reasonable at cruising speeds. at WOT it screams. but never any rasp or drone. although i havent sat in the back of my own car.

i dont know what you're looking at but there is not one thing sloppy about this unit, bends or otherwise, the mandrel bends are smooth as glass. Theres nothing in the second pic that would show this TBE having less gains than others lol. i think the gains this unit shows have been proven and documented time and again on this forum.

quality wise i think its superb. i'm highly impressed with the fit/finish quality of the welds, robustness of the flanges, and frankly i dont see why anyone would spend more than 550.00 for a 3" SS polished turboback exhaust. if ur interested i have many more pictures that show the details of the welds

ill try to post some sound clips.

heres a pic of the downpipe. which fit like a glove on the car, clears the lower braces. really impressed with the construction.

I've had the Megan exhaust on my car for about two years now. It has been great. I get compliments on the look and sound of it all the time. It has a nice deep tone. I weighed it when I first installed it. I forget the weight but it is a nice weight savings over stock.
