Downpipe rattle
Hey try this out. The Helix dp is known for issues like this and I did what was done in this pic. You see where the exhaust hangers are at by the downpipe, I made some brackets by cutting some steel plates and bolted them on to extend the hangers a bit. Doing this will put pressure on the downpipe and allow it to come down about a half an inch, maybe even more. Easy fix and I haven't heard any rattles at all whatsoever since I've done this. Hope this helps 8- )
And by the way for the braces, just throw some washers underneath them so you have more room.

Ok . for us 05 Evo8 ... MOST of the DP will not Clear anything whatsoever. Because we have ACD that limited our DP space. But for what I have know....
Esplier DP will sure clear EVERYTHING. I have this myself, all you have to care about is make sure you adjust the DP before u screw it tight (make sure it clear acd and oil pan). street price $180 to $210
Tanabe DP friend of mine had this on his 05 MR, said this is has the best fitment for MR people. street price $240 to $260
Both above are 70mm with is 2.75" but man its good for up to 500hp!!
