Chewie, what are you talking about? The stock Evo brakes are INSANELY GOOD. Since when do the rotors and pads suck? I'm still on my stock brakes after 150 drag runs, 40-50 autocross runs and 12 20+ minute road course sessions. I've destroyed people on the road course while romping on my stock brakes. I just put in some Super Blue ATE fluid and rocked out. The stock brakes are great. There is no need to upgrade pads or rotors until they go bad. I am just now at the point where I am fast enough around the road course to need some better brakes, but that's only after putting down some very fast lap times.

The turning radius is bad, but the steering RATIO is amazing.

this is a great thread.

that is a pretty sweet armor-all job on your tires on the GT. Too many EVO owners overlook those finishing touches for the sake of traction.

Well guys i test drove the Evo MR Today and man what blast the car is, Its a race car practically, totally hard core, the response you get from just touching the pedals, gas and brakes is fenominal...Naturally the dealer wanted to make the deal today, but i'm going on vacation Friday. I asked him if i put a deposit on it would he hold it till i came back he said no, because I may change my mind and he will have turned down potential buyers. I understood that....He even offered to store it in his garage till i come back if i signed the papers today...lol but I said no. I told him i will go on vacation have a good time, then come back and see if that car is stilll available. If the car has been sold he said he can get another from somewhere else..., reguardless i'm really impressed with the car, but i will take time to make sure its really what i want to do..

Thanks for your input guys:

PS: I hate them BBS wheels...lol

Considering I have an MR and race the hell out of it, most people could tell, but you're right that it was subtle...

A lot of 3G people believe that there can't be anything with a Mitsubishi badge on it much better then their cars when modded, and that Evos are overrated.

Glad you liked the car. Which area of the US are you in? If you're anywhere near Socal then I'd recommend going to South Coast Mitsubishi. They give a huge discount on Evos.
