Why not from 24 to 28?

 

FOr the same reason that I have already said twice, the second of which I TYPED IN ALL CAPS.

The stock turbo is out of efficiency at such high boost, so you get diminishing returns.

 

I was being funny, Its not like a flip of a switch. The turbo gradually starts being less and less effient as the boost goes up. Im a newbie and even I know this.

 

Then stop wasting space, good God. You obviously didn't know, because you were wrong about the 20-24psi. You're really a waste of space on here.

 

Basically the turbo at around 24-28 is being maxed out right, thats why from so 11-20 you will see a huge difference in power because you are bringing it up to the max?

 

Because the turbo is efficient in that range of boost.

 

even at 11 psi compared to a lot of other previous cars people may have had is fast...at 11 psi the evo is as fast as my 04 Audi A4 i put 5k into lol how pathetic is that? it least it was nice as hell and handled better than the evo

 

Your A4 handled better than an Evo? Was all 5k put into suspension and tires? I've yet to see anything like an A4 come anywhere close to me while autocrossing or road racing, so I'm surprised.

 

Yeah, my buddy has a A4 and it deffinently doesn't handle as good as an EVO.

 

As far as the fast thing goes, it definately felt fast at 11psi to me coming from a SVT Focus. It wasn't until I was following my neighbor with a SRT-4 home that I knew my Evo was going too slow. I'm just glad I'm boosting right now, but I wish I had those three months of good weather back As far as the handling on your A4, I don't know about that one. Search for the TopGear episode comparing the Evo, STi, and S4. I think you will see the Evo out-handles all!!
