I have a question for you guys. if a dealership voids your warrenty could you go to another dealership for work, or does it go into a database that your vin has been voided

Your vin is in the computer system. What broke? And why is it voided?

I know its that way with volkswagen. The dealerships have a huge data base that keeps all you information. They keep on record everything ever done to the car. Down to changing light bulbs. Warrenties are a joke anyways bud. I used to be a huge fan but there garbage. When a dealership can say a warrenty is void cause you have exceeded a max speed demed in there eyes is bf. We have a system that we used for dionastics on a friends car and its ACTUALLY SAID "maximum speed exceeded, warranty voided." Then had a smilely face next to it. He works for a dealership and the program actually put a smile face when the warranty was voided wtf is that all about?

Yea I used to drive a VW. Thank god you can clear those codes yourself with a VAG-COM

Anyway, with the Mitsubishi.. When they void your warranty, the VIN number goes to Mitsubishi headquaters in California. You are then screwed, especially when they can void your warranty for no apparent reason, and they claim Page 6 of the owners manual covers any type of situations at the bottom under "What
s not covered: Any alterations or modifications to the body, chassis, frame, or any other parts." if you have any modifications at all, even unrelated to the issue. BS.

If your warranty is voided, you will be as'd out all over the nation.
