more valve train noise after new megan exhaust manifold?

I was wondering if anyone else has had more valve train noise when replacing the factory exhaust with a megan manifold and o2 housing? I did both of mine and it sounds like pebbles are in my down pipe. I cant find any leaks. I maybee going back to stock it sounds so bad. I dont hear it while driving only at idle.

Sounds like you may have a leak somewhere. Did you replace all the gaskets?

What I would do is let the car be cold, mix up some soapy water, and put it one the part of the exhaust that my be leaking, most likely O2 to downpipe, then watch if it bubbles, or just try to feel around for exhaust leaks before it gets too hot again<----how my lazy self would do it.

I am still on stock cams. It sounds like there is something in there rattling around! But I didn't replace all the gaskets, I thought since there were metal they could be cleaned and reused! I will be feeling for leaks tomarrow so we will see!

Tubular headers tend to have a "Plinky" sound more than the cast iron exhaust manifold.. if your not finding any exhaust leaks, then what your hearing is probably normal.
