Who runs in stock cat-back with test pipe and aftermarket downpipe?

How does the car respond to this mod?

It doesn't do much, because you have a major restriction behind the DP and TP. The tp itself will give some gains over the cat, but you are supposed to start from the rear and move forward. Buschur did dyno testing to prove this theory on the Evo.

The car responds very well. I could definately notice a difference without any additional tuning.

I wouldn't say it is louder, but the tone is deeper.

not really, I just dont want it loud. and I buy parts for my car one by one like every 1 to 2 months. Its fun that way than putting it all at once. But if the power gain is the same with 3" Cat-Back, stock cat and 3" DP.... I will stick to this set up. (Stock Cat-back, TP, 3" DP). If not, I will buy a 3" cat-back for my next mod.

ya running a test pipe, will make your exhaust deeper sounding, and you will gain HP.. cats are very restrictive... i mean look at one.

You could always run the StealthWORKS muffler if you're wanting to retain that OEM sound: http://www.worksevo.com/store/produc...products_id=79
