You need to be a little more specific, if its the humming sound I am thinking of then it's perfectly normal.

Its you syncros, trust me. If its not loud or grinding, your fine. If you dont like it happening, match your revs better when down-shifting...

Ill be nice, syncros help the gears in your transmission match the speed that your engine is turning, aiding in smoother gear changes. Search tech web sites for more involved descriptions, Im currently at work. Oh yea, and be prepared to be blasted because of this thread by others....

yea went away. its seemed to only happen when it was cold out. i still worry about it though.

Dont take it too personally, my good friend has a Firehawk.

Im not referencing f-body owners who knew their stuff, rather those who drove around like ego maniacs causing the beginning of the import movement. Now those meat heads drive imports because they are "in."
