The main point is that this is a very nice gain from before, and surprisingly, the biggest gain is in the initial torque, which I wouldn't expect from 280s. I also am not sure why the previous torque was so low when the boost was set to 23psi. 23psi should have more torque than WHP, but those IXs are a whole new beast.

We really need TT customers to post the runfiles, though, because they always post the speed instead of RPM. It's very frustrating. We also can't see the HP numbers due to the ProStreet logo in the bottom left.
I agree with you. PLEASE zip and post your dyno run files. He posted uncorrected numbers from two different days making it that much harder to compare. He should have used a correction factor. Correction factors allow to have a better comparison from two different days. If we had the dyno run files we could have done that ourselves.

I post up the dyno and comments and that's it. Take it for what it worth or maybe you can spend the money, do a before and after dyno and post up the zip files to share with others. As I said in my first post its just for reference for people who are curious. Gain with Turbotrix 280s was 20-25 hp and torque across the curve.

How streetable are those cams? I'm trying to decide b/w the 272's and 280's. Don't plan on doing too much autox, but will def be hitting the drag strip.

I read previously that the difference in idle is barely noticeable and if this was your first time hearing a IX idle, then you probably wouldnt know the cams were in there.

Numbers are pretty good. From the graphs ive seen, TT tunes have a nice fat powerband.

Great job on the cams, TT.

Two questions

1. I know you recommend switching out the fuel pump - but what about the injectors? I know the 8's come with 540cc but haven't heard anything about the 9's.

2. Is install available at your shop? I know you're sellling the cams for $899 - just want to find out how much install would be and if that comes with a tune.

Thanks.

Please, don't get your feathers ruffled. I have dynoed before and after and I have posted my dyno run files. I have paid my money and I have shared with others.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=194730 Take a look.

There is a RIGHT way and a WRONG way to post dyno numbers. The way you posted your numbers is INACCURATE. Ask anyone and they will tell you that posting uncorrected before and after numbers from different days will not give you accurate numbers. There is a reason why dyno softwares have correction factors.

I don't work for Turbotrix, I'm just one of their random customer.
To answer your questions-
1. no need to upgrade the injectors
2. Call them up and they will assist you on that matter.

You autox'd with alky???? Who let you do that? It's against regulations, like N2O
