HKS 280 cams + stock turbo=thumbs up
The HKS 280 cams work great with the stock turbo in my opinion. I just recently got tuned by Turbo Trix and my mods are as follows:
HKS 280 cams, RS intake
RNR Racing 3" TB no cat
Fighter's Garage LICP
Hyperflow FMIC
Turbo Trix dyno tuned flash
I ended up making 356whp@6500rpm 349ft/lbs@4500rpm on 21psi 93 octane. This was on a Mustand AWD Dyno. The power is great and does not stop pulling at all. These cams really woke my car up big time. I will get the dyno sheet up as soon as I can.
On top of the power from these cams they sound very aggressive. The idle is very lopey. I think I need to adjust the idle with the AC on because it has a hard time idling with it on.

You must have been the red evo with Chris from Pensacola. I heard you rode down with Gabriel. I did his cams locally Friday so he could get the flash on Sat with TT. I came late in the day about 4:30 so I guess I missed your run. I assume you went over to aerocomp though with Chris. I believe I did see you later at the races, I was the MR. Anyhow- nice tune.

Different brands of dynos give different numbers. 356whp on a Mustang dyno is greater than 366whp on a Dynojet.
The 280s will behave differently depending on how they are timed. My 280s are timed such that they give much more low speed torque than my 272s ever did.
The 280s deliver more hp potential than any of the other HKS cams. They also expose the limits of the factory turbo more so than the other cams.
