I do not think it is an SSQV, or a Tial. In fact I'm almost 100% sure it's not either. The SSQV makes more of a high pitched sound, and the Tial is more of a truck changing gears type noise...

It's the external wastegate not a BOV. That is the reason you hear them in racecars and not in our cars. The sound that we hear in our cars are the 'false' sound from the BOV. The boost is not flowing out cleanly therefore the flapping. If adjusted correctly the blow off is clean and no surge.

Its NOT the external wastegate ! Its the turbo surge. The BOV is not open enough to let the air out, so it went back to the turbo, which is not good for turbo ! Thats why we need the BOV !! If you have a adjustable bov, you can try to adj spring to the most hard setting and you can make the turbo surge like the vedio sound !!

that's can't be a external wastegate.. an external wastegate hit really loud.. and that's not loud.. and if it's loud it have to vented to atmosphere. and from the way I heard it that high pitch sound can't be a wastegate... and another thing.. I haven't seen a supra turbo kit that have the wastegate vented to atmosphere..
given I have a both Tial Bov and Tial wastegate..in my 97 gsx.. I should know what them sound like..
oke guys I have the solutions.. why not get some info on the net about the video.. ??
well I did.. found some info about. ( which only took me a couple of minutes..)..
here it's...
this's the link

that's the same supra.. and what kind of Bov listed on the mod list ? IT's a TIAL BOV.
Evo Racing to answer your question.. It's a TIAL BOV..
