Yes, I leave my foot on the gas pedal the whole time then shift and work the clutch as fast as possible. I make it look easy, because it IS easy now that I have the Exedy 4-puck. I wasn't able to do this on the stock clutch or ACT HDSS. Now, it's effortless, although it still requires some quick reflexes.

I CAN DO IT ON THE STOCK CLUTCH. Although I am sure it is easier on the exedy.

Have you used the camera and that mount at an autox/track day? If so do you mind posting a video of that. I am curious to see how well the video would be being that the camera is so far back, unless you just didn't have the camera zoomed in during the drag race.

Thanks
FYI
I purchased this same camera mount and have ran it in 2 HPDE's and love it! I have it mounted exactly as Warralton has shown earlier in the thread. It's very stable. I just wish the external mic on my buddies camera I borrow was longer - but I might be getting my own camera own.

My only regret would be finding a spot closer to the front of the car to firmly/safely mount the camera. But until then, this works very well.

Could you post some pics of the footage? I have been thinking about getting one of Chase Cam's bullet cameras but, the other expense of buying the recording and processor have been deterring me from buying it. I'd love to use my camera now but, have been hesitant to use this mount not only due to the question of clear footage but, also safety.

How secure is the camera and mount mounted this way?

I thought I had posted footage earlier in the thread. If you haven't seen all the vids I've posted of racing, then check this link. I have some showing the rear mount and some showing my bullet cam helmet mount.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-PcG8aNE0g (should be able to get to my other vids from here)

my camera is set it up there with $2 worth of screw and washers./home depo/
you just have to bring your camera in the home depo and find the matching screw.

unscrew the children seat hook, then put thet screw thru on that hole. Put washers under it .Thats it. I used my camera like that for autoX and road racing. Works great.

Anybody running a camera mount with the Autopower rollbar? I know there's some iso mount for like $100, but any other options?

I have a chasecam mount I've been using that cost $40. If I remove the soft end, it opens wide enough (but scatches) the rollbar as seen but I'm not sure if it'll be solid enough:
