hard jolt when shifting with exedy twin

yeah the response will become better with motor mounts.

what you're kinda compensating for when you watch how you life and how you engage is the engine moving. you can get around it several ways, while shifting fast you have to engage the clutch and gas smoother...

of course if you have motormounts i think you worry a lot less about the finessing.

I also did this when i was test driving a evo 8 before i bought my 9.... you need to slip it into gear in order for this to not happen.... even though you are driving fast, you need to slow down your shifting to about 80%, until you get used to your clutch... when you shift fast and you hear a loud bang= not good ! i think if you bought new motor mounts and still shift that way im sure you might have the same issue down the line... the best fix, is to get used to your clutch and learn how to slip it into gear....

i think ralliart motormounts are the way to go. have it done with your clutch job when it happens. extra 180 and you needn't worry about drivetrain snappage no more. read superhatch's review on them for more info.
