Vendors, please, don't do this to me

This topic was inevitable, I ran a bit out of pacience, this are my facts:

I made 4 purchases for a value of $2000 on car parts. All 3 different vendors have failed to delivered my parts either serviceable or on time. The minimum delay has been 3 plus weeks and counting all the way to 56 days(currently waiting for parts as we speak).

Two of the vendors had their products advertized on their web but in reality did not have them on stock. A third vendor had the part but sent me an unserviceable part then a serviceable part making the total elapsed time of 3 plus weeks.

I truly don't want to give bad reputation to any vendor, I am just asking you politely to please ensure the customer knows that the part is or is not available, don't waste your or the customers time.

I always consider myself a good customer, I don't waste your time, I am all business but please be honest with us, if you are not capable of providing the customer with the product in a timely manner let the customer know.

I really hate having to chase the vendor with e-mails and phone calls and not getting a courtesy phone call or e-mail back. In the last 18 months I spent(paid off, past sentence) $70000 in cars and upgrades and I directly and indirectly sold your products by the word of mouth a lot.

If you are a vendor and take your business seriously I recommend you listen to your good customers. Cmon guys, lets get the ball rolling, lets stop the shortcuts and lets start excelling !!

My good friends Ray(rraulston) and Abner(slowcar) had similar issues, it is not just one incident, it is a daily habit...

my .2c

Thanks!!

Carlos

Back to the subject, would you agree we deserve better standards when dealing with some vendors?

Also how do you dyno a awd vehicle on a mustang dyno? Last time I checked mustangs were rwd? Although I guess there is a possibility that someone made a awd stang? haha

I wonder who it is...I'm about to order parts from Gruppe-S...I used them when I had a WRX and they didn't take too long, but then I see a few scary posts here and there.

Damn too many edits haha. But yes I agree 100% of course. Just making small talk is all. This thread is pointless without names though. Well at least IMO it is. I mean if its been taking this long I would have called them out publicly already I mean 56days? That is retardedly unacceptable! I would NEVER let them screw with em liek that. CALL THEM OUT NOW so that they can fix their f-ups.

Same here, I used them a few times when I had my WRX and got the parts from them very quick.

Skillmatic,

I could go public with this issue, I am just too nice of a person to trash the vendor just like that even though I am pissed that a great customer like me have to go through all this.

Ask any performance shop in Tucson, I send them loads of customers by personal recommendation, the local performance shop owners love me for that.

I am cool with the people, I am just a bit disapointed that I have to go through this BS often.

I know people hated when I don't give names, sometimes I agree to tell the info over PM.

I've had the same issue. Ordered brake pads, waited for about a week with no word and finally decided to email them. I get an email back telling me they won't be in until the end of the month, and the month had just started! The only reason I ordered brake pads from them is because it appeared they had them in stock and everyone else was out, I guess not!

Probably the last thing I will buy from them.
