Greddy type-s bov has flutter problem

If anyone has read my other post, I have determined that the car is set up for recirc. The problem is that when at highway speeds, if I accelerate then let off the gas, the BOV flutters.

I have read that the TYPE-S should have a different spring installed to work properly, but since it came on the car (I bought it used) I have no way of telling if this mod was done. I am thinking about going with a different BOV.

The car also has an aftermarket Upper intercooler pipe ( I think it is an AEM, it is red in color. . .), but that would not be an addition to the fluttering problem, would it?

So, if anyone has a thought on how to fix this BOV (i.e. how to tell what spring I have or where I can order the correct spring from, or how to tune it) please let me know. Thanks.

Well - I'll be gentle.

I used the "search this forum" button and used "greddy bov flutter" as the terms and came up with this:

my guess...prob have both springs installed ...plus tension is tight... either...loosen bolt on top or remove smaller spring...type s dismantles very easy...if you have trouble getting bov off...you should prob have someone else do it.

Tools needed to dismantle type s "allen wrench"
tools needed to adjust tension... "allen wrench + small wrench to loosen nut"
tools needed to remove bov... wont list

I did the single spring mod and it completely fixed the problem. The BOV still holds boost np, and is quite a bit quieter too.
