stock IX boost gauge accuracy?

Ive had my nine for a few weeks now and after break in Ive never seen past 1.3 bar. Are the stock mr boost gauges accurate? Am I just being paranoid? 1.3 BAR = 18.603 PSI at 600 FT Above Sea Level that is pretty close to stock to be ok? Ive read most boost at 19+ psi or 1.4-1.45 bar. I dont want tojump the gun and say somethings wrong, but the car has almost 3.5k mi on it already. MBC help the problem or is it deeper then that? The boost tapers to 1.1 in fifth after it gets to 1.3
edit: while im *****ing about my baby, I mus clear something up thats been bugging me. My friend told me to wait and see if it works itself out, it hasnt. My fourth gear grinds at almost all rpm when shifting normally. If I granny shift or double clutch its cool. I would assume this is a syncro as it seems someone else had this problem here Grindy fourth gear
Should I take this in? Maybe have the check for a boost leak? Ps which is a good dealership to go to for work? I love my car, besides this minor sht, always makes me smile

1.45 is 21 psi, 1.3-1.35 taper to 1.1 is normal for ecu controlled on my IX mr

Are you positive your not mistakening a notchy 4th gear compared to grinding? Because when I first got the car, the tranny was extremely notchy, but after some miles, its smooth as butter. I'm at 4700 miles now.

My IX MR's tranny is as smooth as can be. Of course I also own an STi which has the notchiest transmission I've ever driven so maybe I just don't notice it in the Evo. I think you might want to have it looked at if it's still under warranty.

As for the boost, mine will initially spike up around 1.4 or slightly higher then drop to 1.3 where it holds for a while then it tapers down to 1.1. A lot of it depends on the gear and he load on the engine.

Well when I first bought my MR it was colder and it would hit 1.4 bar, now it does best to hit 1.3 in first and second, it does taper off in third and fourth to 1.1 bar. of course it is like 110 here in az right now and sometimes it hard to even reach 1.05 bar when the ac is on. My tranny is SUPER NOTCHY in all gears, so bad I took it in and of course they found nothing wrong, it seems like it is getting worse, I have 1800 miles now. My car is very slow when it's over 100 degrees and I have the ac on...

Holy Shiite! You own an Evo AND an STi? Pretty core. Which do you tend to drive more, when you're heading out the door? (I'm a poet and don't know it.)

My MR factory gauge and Autometer gauge both read the same. They are on the same line too.

Does it read at 1.3 bar? Thats what my factory mitsu gauge reads on my IX before it tapers to 1.1.

Where is the 20 or so psi spike we are supposed to have from the factory?

I haven't ran stock boost for months If I remember right, I think it would spike around 1.4 bar or so then taper off on mine.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd i only get 1.1 and tapers to the line below the 1 bar. My 4th spikes to about 1.3 or lower sometimes and tapers to 1.1 or so and my 5th does about the same. Is that normal in the first 3 grs to boost so low? oh and i have about 4200 miles on my IX MR.
