evo engine automatic

evo engine automatic

has anyone ever heard of a evo engine going with an automatic tran

i cant drive standard because of my knee just curious and if it is even possible

the X is suppose to come with a paddle shifter (fancy automatic, kinda like sportstronic)

i think in japan the evo does come in auto too...i forgot where i seen this but i'm pretty sure i have haha

sure it could go with auto. with the power you just might need to beef up the tranny and get a torque converter.

hmm thats cool i would love to drive standard but it would be to hard on my knee i have a lancer but i heard that the evo engine wouldnt go with the automatic tran

I heard there is a sporttronic that is made for our tranny. I dont think anyone has done it and I dont remember the web site. The company made them for the older galants which used the same tranny. I think...haha

look up lancer evolution VII GT-A, its an automatic evo with no vent in the hood. It was supposed to be more civil, for the mature "enthusiast"

i think the sport shifter for US is the one from level ten or something like that.. about four hundred bucks i think.

im kinda tired on people raggin on me just for my automatic id like to change that but as i said before i can't use the clutch

ive had 2 knee surgerys and an ankle surgery all on my clutch foot and i can still drive standard fine....stop being a quitter

Dude...that doesnt mean anything. What if he's had more knee problems..or what if his knee problem was as easy to overcome as yours. There's no need to act that way at all. I feel bad for the guy....because he cant use a clutch he doesn't get to enjoy the evo.

My recommendation if you can wait would be to hold out for the evo X ....the paddle shifter should be a alot of fun.
