Take your wheels off and wax the inside of them. This will help with getting the brake dust off in the future. Although, honestly my stock gunmetal wheels on the R are more of a 'Brakedust' color then anything.

My new EVO had massive amounts of brake dust after just 500 miles. I think alot of the problem was that there was that tire shine stuff that the dealer puts on the tires was all over the rims, so the dust stuck really well. I like the idea of removing the wheels and waxing the whole assembly. At least that should make the dust not stick so easily...

Matching wheel color to dust color is the best way to minimize the problem and still retain hi-performance braking capability.

I'll be waxing my wheels this weekend. A friend of mine told me to stay away from wheel 'cleaners'. He said most cleaners that say they remove brake dust will also eat away the clearcoat. Best just to use a bit of elbow grease
