hey guys when i put this in my car, why are alot of you guys putting the radio below the factory radio??? why can't we just replace it with a newer unit?

 

It can easily replace the factory radio if you want. Most people are moving them cuz
1. Gauges/meters etc can be put in the location (easier to see, closer to eye level)
2. Can operate/reach radio from the shifter (rather than reaching up and controlling it.)

 

you put the guages on a pod right above by the window...you know how every honda or other little euro car.....
