Lost power to radio after gauge install

The guy that had the car before me tapped his boost gauge into the stock radio harness (red/black and yellow/blue). I removed his gauge today and put in 3 new ones with a gruppe-s tripple pod, and wired them up. The AFR I put in is the only one wired to the red/black constant 12v, the other 2 are wired to the yellow/blue. Everything was fine until I went to wire the AFR in. After I wired it up, I get no power to my radio or the AFR gauge.

I know what you are thinking, check fuse 23....I did, it was blown so I changed it but still no radio(I haven't checked it again). Any suggestions as to what it might be?

Yeah I'm going to check it again tomorrow. Are there any radio fuses under the dash that I should check?

I dont know off hand... do you have your user's manual in the glove box?..

They map out all the fuses for you in there and just check the ones in relation to the work you performed.

I would definitly start there.

The problem somehow resolved itself. My guess is that I have a wire loose in the radio harness. I check all the connections using a multimeter and it all checked out. Everything magically works fine now, but at least it wasnt gremlins!

the deck in the evo grounds itself out when its set in place thru the metal.. so if u were trying to power it on when the deck wasnt in place it wouldnt work. that might not have been your issue, but thought id throw it out there

just to let you know if your wide band sensor does not have power and you drive your car you can hurt the sensor. I would run it off of a deadicated circuit if you can.
