Where did you install the T-fitting for the gauge? I remember way back when that if you tapped in the downstream side of the FPR that it could cause the gauge to stick when the car was shut off.

Gauge may be out of calibration.

take the guage apart and crimp the metal bladder, keep crimping different parts of it to get it back to zero.

Try tapping it here (red circled)....this is where I have my Defi tapped and where it was recommended by countless others.

Defi-D are junk IMO. The first one I bought a year ago came defective, then when I got another one I had it for a little over a year to find out it reads innaccurately over 20psi.

I bought a Stewart Warner for half the price and havent looked back. Spot on accuracy and it LOOKS better. What more could you ask for?

i agree, i think the defi-d gauge was wayyyy over hyped. i fell for it. if i have to get a cheap gauge i might as well buy autometer or sw. which i will next time. right now i have my d-guage adjsuted so it reads dead on, but the fact is i had to adjsut it.

how do you adjust it? does it twist open? wouldn't this be covered under warranty?

oh, yeah they definitely suck. I am on my third boost gauge from them, and I have only had my car for a year.

Check out my thread, it also has a link on how to fix it, but if I was you I would just toss it in the trash and buy something else

the Defi D-gauge sucks, i had the same problem. that's why i got the DEfi Link BF series. Also the best place to tap for boost is the Vcaum line that goes from the throttle body to the BOV.
