Boost gauge replaced "Lancer gauge"

I finally went ahead and cut up my gauge cluster... I've seen a couple of threads asking if it was possible. It's definitely possible. Spent too many hours on it, but all I had was a knife and a pair of pliers. I'd suggest a dremel if you plan to try it. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the actual process, I picked up the camera after it was done. Any questions, let me know. And Let me know how it looks.

That looks cool. I always wanted to do that with an amber defi gauge because I figured it would match and look good.

In all honesty, I don't really like it. Maybe just because of the gauge but it just looks really out of place. :-/

That's cool, but I agree with Talon, that guage looks out of place. If you have the opportunity I would try the Defi, although I think that would be too large. Maybe a Stewart Warner would look better, since they can be color matched, but not as large as Defi.

I like the spot but I have to agree that a different gauge would look better. Nice work though

I like the idea, but I couldn't do it unless the gauge exactly matched.

How much room is behind the cluster in that area? Is that a 52mm gauge?

I think that's awesome, man. Our cars should have a boost gauge in that spot from the factory instead of that cheesy "Lancer" circle.
