Hey This question is a hard question to answer depending on the driver. What is everyone getting for MPG on the EvoVIII, I know what the sticker says but driving pretty normal, and not flooring it all the time what milage are you getting city/highway?

Please tell me what kind of driver you are and the gas milage you are getting. Since its hard to tell the MPG you can even tell me how many miles you go on a full tank.

 

I got 25 MPG driving to NY and back. That was keeping it around 3000 - 3200 RPMs.

 

Keeping my foot out of it (roughly 5% of my normal driving day) I probably achieve the 25mpg figure.

The rest of the time its more like 14-16 at best... heh

 

how far are you all getting on a tank??

 

I have realized that the empty light comes on when there is a bout 2 gallons of gas left. When does your light come on??? FYI.. I get about 15-22 mpg.

 

I tend to get about 250-280 before the light comes on. And when I fill up at that point I put in 11-12 gallons. I think I'm getting about 24MPG, which isn't bad. Most of my driving is cruising along at 60ish on my way to/from work with some stop and go for traffic or lights. I commute 50+ miles per day.

 

11.2 was my worst

17 was my best.

 

I got 5.7 mpg with the Evo on the track this weekend!

Normal driving I usually get 24-26 mpg.

Without getting on it (keeping it at 3-3.5K RPM which is SOOO damn hard ) I am getting about 285 miles out of a full tank.

 

doesnt sound bad... the tank is only 12 gal?

 

I think the tank is 14gal.

 

I get about 20 mpg, combined, if I don't go too crazy.

 

Tank is indeed 14 gal, the light comes on with between 1.5 and 2 gals left in the tank. My best is 23mpg (mostly freeway driving), worst is 17.5mpg (mostly stop-start urban traffic).

 

You have a heavy foot my friend. But isn't that the point of owning an EVO?

 

Dude i think i got screwed. I drive it around 3k to 3.5.. and i only get 17 gallons.. But when i drive a little harder i still get only 17gallons.. WTF?
