Forgot to follow up whit you guys last week. I got the HIR bulbs 3 days later. I put them on and was pretty disappointed. If I had to chose between the HIRs and the HOEN ones, I would go with HOEN.
The HIRs luminate a bit better, but give off the regular "yellowish" light, unlike the HEONs are a tab darker but look like HIDs.

Hope someone finds this helpfull.

 

IMHO brighter is always better.

 

man, thats crazy the HIR did not perform 'that' much better than the Hoens. I guess that was overhyped technology.

 

I bought a nice HID kit for my EVO....

50 Watt ballasts, High output 8000K D2S HID bulbs

 

i had the silverstars in my '01 integra (projectors) and they were great... if you just want to spend like 40 bux and drop em in.. then get the silverstars...
