Question Any flaws?

Hi, I'm new to the forums and am currently saving up for a nice down payment for an Evo...I think, anyways. I currently drive a 2003 Mustang GT. I was wondering...does the evo have any flaws, like minor problems that just sort of annoy you but dont bother you enough to even think about selling it? A good example of what I'm looking for is with my mustang, sometimes the seat belts dont retract after you unbuckle them. Ive always liked evo's and I've had a....change of heart, if you will and am really interested. Any general information about the evo would be great.

Thanks in advance

Bought mine in March 2003. 34K miles and not a single problem to report. A great car!

-too many speeding tickets
-less time spent with girlfriend--although you could argue that this is a good thing
-wallet stays empty
-causes embarrassment when laughing uncontrollably like a little school girl when it snows

Sport Compact Car magazine said the only flaw in the car was its small gas tank. I know some people and I aswell have head a intermitent strut noise when turning going real slow in like parkign lots etc. but could never find anythign wrong to cause the noise. I have JICA2s from RRE and the noise has gone away. I had a seat belt buckle warrentied cause it wouldnt stay latched but besides that I wouldnt trade my car anything, and my EVO(not stock) pulled on my freinds 98 M5(not stock).

Hm, sounds pretty good to me! I actually got to drive my buddies Electric blue Evo VIII. It has the 330 BR package and is only the 3'rd one to have it down from the buschur by us here in cleveland. Damn, now I'm all excited for November! (November is when I plan to have my full down payment mustered up so I'll be buying the evo then hopefully)

Impatience ftl.

Usually any seatbelt defect is covered by a lifetime warranty. You should give your local ford dealership a call. Ive had the seatbelts replaced for free in my 95 civic and in my 88 crx for the same problems.

Nah its not a big deal, besides pretty much every single type of mustang (V6, GT, Cobra or to you evo owners "Slowbra", Machs, you name it.) has that problem and plus...I'm getting an evo (I really hope so atleast).

Just got mine EVO IX MR like two months ago, have NO problem!!
I'm more worried about people keying and door dingy-ing my car than having it broken down on me.

Had my car about a year now. No serious problems.

My dislikes:

Fading CF spoiler. (warranty replacing)
Brake dust from hell!! (changing pads)

And ugh, that's really all that I dislike that I can think of.

I had to replace the water pump (dunno why it went out)
