HKS Turbo Timer Type-0 vs. Type-1??

For those of you that have the HKS Type-1 do you actually use the added gizmo's or if you could buy it all over again would you just go with the Type-0 or maybe another brand all together? If so what other brand and why? For the rest of you what do you feel is the best turbo timer out there?

Yes I searched and I know we don't NEED a turbo timer but it will be a nice convenience.

I have a type-1 and don't really use the extras. Here in Vegas TT's are nice to have. If you don't get the HKS, the apexi is cool cuz it's small.

I had the Type-1 on my 8. It was good to have all those different features. Once in a while I play around with the added features...

Who installed it for you? Is the Ebrake wire from TT still attached to the Ebrake Handle Wire?

I just recently purchased and installed my type1 and I love it.... the added features are nice... the shift light is a nice thing to have.... i actually use the gadgets all the time... the only complaint that I do have about it is that the blue light is extremely bright at night... other than that its great.... and as for the e-brake problem... i would suggest tryin to see if the wire was tapped correctly.... just take your center console off and see if the wire was tapped correctly... i tapped the wrong wire for my RPM and had to retap when I installed mine also... good luck

i have the type 1 and the features are useless....tried to play around with them once and then decided they suck...

however i like the shape and look of the HKS tt and it serves well as a turbo timer...the reason why i didnt get the apexi is because its an odd pen shape where as the hks could be mounted nicely under my factory gauges next to my profec II ebc...it made a really clean look...
