I have the GReddy and I like it. It's got a bunch of features in it as well, but like many other people I don't use them. The only other feature I use is the voltage display. Oh yeah, and the install was super easy! It came with the car.

 

I just ordered the type 1 today, w/ harness. I plan on using its features, its got a shift light and all, can't wait to get it.

 

Sometime my Type 0 will rev to 3k by it self when I turn off the car. Bad connection?!

The shift light is pointless imo. Just pay attention to your tach. that's why it's big and in the center. Unless you have no tach to watch and a full race car then shift lights are dumb

 

go with the type 0... i would never use it for anything else and im happy with it, i know midnite has a type 1 and he says he never uses any of that extra junk.... plus the amber lighting of the type 0 matches the guage cluster

 

I had the Type one on my old rex but didnt even use the extras. Its was good but a waste. I now have a Blitz FATT DC II in my IX MR and love it. It is clean looking and no modifying your interior to make it fit plus extremley easy to install with the harness. It even reads boost which is a plus from the factory one all the way down on the bottom. HKS is big and you will need to cut or make a custom housing for it. One of the only other tt I would consider is the Apexi because it has a a/f gauge.
