3k on a new ix could get yah there also (look at Mostwanted's ix 11.5 or so). 3k in a srt4 will not yeild a 11.XX,so who cares if he has 400 hp, no traction. You will beat him even if he has a lsd, what clutch is he running? The stocker will not last that long with 400 hp.He has way more than 3k in it, but who cares you will beat him. Take your car to the track and run a good 11.XXX then tell him to beat it.

You don't need to know, use the launch control on the AEM at the track.

Do not street race, keep it safe. If you take him for a ride in your car he will want to sell his car.

brake boosting is when you use the brake to build boost while mantaining a set speed. so you guys decide to do a 30mph race(close track) you go to 30mph, start giving gas and brake at the same time to build your boost without going faster than 30mph. that way when you guys start the race(3rd honk i assume) you release the brake and floor it, if you arent already floored, and you will have NO TURBO LAG. that way you take off like a bat outta hell

as for the srt4... my buddy with stock turbo, MBC, full exhaust, made 266whp / 308tq from a 30mph roll he would slightly spin the tires... if this guy has a bunch more than that... hes going to spin making his start slow.

overall if you brake boost and get a good start, chances are no matter how much HP he has, hes not going to catch up. i mean if he has to much its going to hurt him from such a low speed. he would have a better chance from like 60mph roll.

let us know how things go... either here on via PM.

That number was on TT dyno with a 57 trim turbo (AF 10.8 @WOT). Another shop did all my work but did not do a good job really to long a story) so I took it to Mark to have it checked. I had a stroker in it plus a few other mods. I ran 11.9 before the stroker with the 57 trim then I had a 62-1 trim but it went (shaft play) so I put the 57 back on had TT tune it safely and traded it in..

You should be there or close on pump.

I know that an SRT-4 can make 400whp for about 3G's if built smartly. However most find it to average about 5G's. There are a ton of them around town and i've seen a few around 350whp. They suck in just about every gear but 4th and 5th.

It's uncontrollable... even on DR's. That guys a joke... You'd kill him easy with your evo. Tell him to put pinks up if he's so confident. Those SRT guys only get braggin rights on the dyno. They suck at the track and it is RARE to see one get into the sub 12's. Most barely break into the 12's period.

Take his money, his car, his woman... and anything else his ego will allow!

why ask? just race the guy. Im sure there is an srt-4 that will win that race, there is always someone faster. Also my srt-4 seems to deal with California 91 octane better than my Evo he could give you a run for your money. Worst case you lose, so what an SRT-4 will never have the balance in performance that the Evo has.
