so heres the question do you think the evo is a good looking car?? Both my parents have seen a gg 9 mr and think its extremley outdated and say i will regret buying it after 2 months. they think i would appreciate a toyota prius much more than a evo.. But here is the thing what ever i buy has to last me around 8-9 years minimum!!!!

However, no kid should be bought a brand new Evo IX MR by his parents anyway.

I agree with Warrtalon, even though my friend is only 17 and just got an 06 GG MR. Unless you're going to drive it like a "responsible adult" I think it would be a bad idea, only because the chances of you crashing it are so high.(Thinking like a parent here, I would kill for an evo )

 

i have half saved up kinda... around 15k and i have to come up with my own insurance and gas. and if your saying this thinking im ganna make your insurance hike because ill streetrace and kill someone... i have no intent of streetracing at all with this car mabe just the casual "lets see who gets up to the speedlimit first when the light goes green" sprint. how ever i might go into the autoxing scene and use the evo what its made for.

 

the styling does seen to be a bit out of date if you consider most new car have big round or square headlights and have an more roundier-like body panel like the acure RSX and toyota TC.

I personally dont think its out of date, beside if they look at the new Acure TL, RL, TSX they all have the EVO look-a-like. EVO has its own distinctive look other cars dont have, the famous AWD w/ 4G63, hood scoop, and the wing.

I have the EVO for more than 3 months and still could not belived the car is mine.

 

I think you should go with a different car, cause even if you do buy it, it will still be under your parents name....ehhhmmm just search the name muslimevofreak...

i know the prius is one of the most ugly cars my parents have one and i rather drive my minivan besides the gas nothing is good about that car. i have been put down more than once in that car while driving past mustangs and firebirds
